About the event
he 24 Hours of Prayer is a global virtual event hosted by the University Parkway Church of Christ in Baltimore, Maryland.
Originally launched in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, it was designed to unify the "one body" of the church across the world to pray for healing, hope, and connection during a time of global isolation.
Key Features of the Event
Global Reach: The event typically spans 18 time zones, with participating congregations and individuals joining from countries as far apart as Alaska, India, Nepal, Kenya, and Ukraine.
Virtual Format: It is primarily hosted via Zoom and live-streamed to social media (like YouTube). This allows participants to join from anywhere in the world.
